Miessence Organic Toothpaste
Miessence is very close to the perfect toothpaste. But this company is far away. Miessence company is based in Australia. But I think you can buy their products on Amazon. Miessence toothpaste is one of the few toothpastes that are almost free of dangerous ingredients. In fact, they only have one bad ingredient on their list. That will be Xanthan Gum. They state that Xanthan Gum in their toothpaste is not from GMO. But this will not cheer us a lot.
Miessence Toothpaste Have Only One Problematic Ingredient
We know that Xanthan Gum is fermented sugar. Sugar mixed with some bacteria. Some people are allergic to Xanthan Gum. If you get irritated nose and mouth, then that is probably an allergic reaction and you should look for toothpaste without Xanthan Gum. Xanthan Gum is also not recommended for a pregnant woman, children, and breastfeeding woman.
The Reason for a not recommendation is that this ingredient was not tested enough. So if you have some concerns, you should avoid this toothpaste, just to be on the safe side. Why they use this ingredient in toothpaste is the mystery. But they are not the only one using Xanthan Gum. It is probably to make the toothpaste sweeter and to bring up a better taste. But we, people, that care for health are not bugged with how things are tasty. We want a healthy product. So having something that is inside just for taste is not good for people that want a healthy product. They probably sell more of this toothpastes, when it tastes better.
Now I am ranting too much in the review of toothpaste that is very close to being perfectly healthy toothpaste. And I must say that Miessence cares for customer health because their toothpaste is not pasty, they don’t use ingredients to make their toothpaste look beautiful. That why some people that don’t care for their health, but for the toothpaste appearance have given some bad reviews. They say that this toothpaste can fall from the toothbrush. But I m saying that you can put this toothpaste directly in your mouth and then brush. Who says that toothpaste need to be applied on the toothbrush?
Miessence toothpaste is also packed with lots of essential oils. I did not find info how are this oils extracted, but I hope and think that they have used the most natural way of extraction. Also, some people can be allergic to essential oils. Especially to lemon oils. If you have some reactions, you can always choose a different flavor. You can choose from the mint, lemon and anise toothpaste. My favorite would be Miessence anise toothpaste.
Before I end this review of one of the few promising kinds of toothpaste, I must say that this toothpaste is free from fluoride, aluminum, artificial sweeteners, and detergents. I m not from Australia, but Miessence toothpaste is probably the best healthy toothpaste in the country.
P.S. I would like to thank Sam J. for sending us an email about this great product.
