Periobrite Natural Toothpaste is very different than conventional. Natural toothpaste should not foam too much. If it foams too much, then you can be sure that it contains some chemicals that make this foaming. Also, the taste and color of natural toothpaste sometimes are not so nice. Taste of natural toothpaste can be kind of awkward. If there are no artificial flavors and colors toothpaste can be very different than conventional.Periobrite Toothpaste

Periobrite Made a Decent Toothpaste

Periobrite Natural toothpaste is not the best taste toothpaste, but it contains many different natural ingredients. But there are also few ingredients that can be problematic for human health. One of this questionable ingredients is vegetable glycerin. Vegetable glycerin can trigger allergic reactions. Since Periobrite company didn’t write what kind of vegetable glycerin they use. It is highly possible that they use propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is one of the most toxic glycerin. Vegetable glycerin can make your skin irritate. In toothpaste case, it can make your mouth burned.

Calcium carbonate is there probably to help your teeth get calcium. But new studies claim that calcium carbonate is not safe for humans. Human metabolism cannot absorb calcium carbonate.

Knowing this, you are eating something that has zero benefits for your health. Silica is also on the ingredients list of Periobrite toothpaste. And the silica is the same as hydrated silica or silicon dioxide. Silicon dioxide is the controversial element. Some health organizations have placed silicon dioxide on the safe list, but some people state this is a fraud. Silicon dioxide is an artificial chemical that a human body can not absorb. And his real function is only detrimental to humans. Whatever is true, you should not consume this ingredient just to stay on a safe side.

Another problematic element is xanthan gum, we already write about this component. And true is that this ingredient is additive. Why do you need additive in the natural product? Chlorophyll can trigger allergic reactions if swallowed.

Xylitol is also questionable. It is very poisonous to dogs. If a dog eats xylitol toothpaste, he could die very fast. Knowing this, it is very dubious if xylitol is not harmful to humans. Xylitol is an industrial product. And whatever xylitol producing companies say, need to be taken with reserve. In low dosage, xylitol should not be dangerous to humans. But different people can take the different dosage. Little kids can be more sensitive to xylitol than grown-ups.

Maybe not 100% natural toothpaste, but Periobrite Natural Toothpaste is not bad. It contains some problematic elements, but overall it is one of the more natural toothpaste products on the market. It is free from well know problematic components. Components like fluoride and SLS.

Also, the company claims that this product doesn’t use preservatives, artificial flavors, and colors. But we did find this product containing xanthan gum that is industrially processed product. If you can’t find a better alternative, Periobrite toothpaste can be your choice. It is on a list of healthiest toothpaste. And to compare this product to conventional toothpaste is nonsense.
