One of the most exciting products on the natural toothpaste market is Coral Mint Toothpaste, first natural toothpaste based on coral. This toothpaste use benefits from coral to clean and make your teeth white. It does that very good because it is focused on keeping your mouth in the proper alkaline state. Minerals from coral are very good for remineralization of your teeth. Using coral instead of fluoride to remineralize teeth is a much better choice because as we know fluoride many times did not work according to many studies that tested people who used fluoride toothpaste and those that did not. Maybe situation with coral minerals is better, but so far I didn’t find any studies about that.

Coral LLC gets its coral from the Caribbean sea and uses harvesting methods that are not harmful to the ocean. As well they use one EcoSafe coral minerals that are not polluted.

Coral Mint Toothpaste Ingredients

  • Coral Minerals

As already stated this is a crucial ingredient in toothpaste. Coral minerals are used to keep teeth clean and healthy.

  • Sorbitol

A standard ingredient in toothpaste that makes toothpaste sweet and pleasant to use. A few months ago I was very cynical about this element because it has no purpose in cleaning the teeth or helping the teeth in any way. But it has a different use; it helps people to love brushing their teeth which is also important.

  • Xylitol

Same as sorbitol, it is a natural sweetener, but xylitol also helps in destroying some of the mouth bacterias that may harm teeth.

  • Stain Removal Ingredients

This natural toothpaste better makes teeth white. I am saying that because its primary focus is to make teeth white. And I am not really happy with that. But people who prefer white teeth over healthy teeth will love it. Hydrogen peroxide is the main ingredient that will make teeth white. It is a standard ingredient in many conventional toothpaste formulas, and I don’t like that component inside a natural toothpaste brand. Coral LLC could easily use baking soda instead of hydrogen peroxide, hydrated silica, and sodium magnesium silicate. Hydrated silica as already mentioned in other natural toothpaste brands is added for removing stains, plaque and if used frequently may harm enamel. Hydrogen peroxide combined with hydrated silica will remove even the hardcore stains, but at what cost. Will you risk teeth enamel for white teeth? I can’t recommend this toothpaste to young adults or kids.

  • Healthy Ingredients We Love

Spearmint leaf oil is added to provide a pleasant fresh breath. But spearmint oil is also known as an excellent antibacterial solution. Echinacea, ginkgo biloba, American ginseng, stevia, goldenseal are ingredients that make this toothpaste healthy. These components will for sure help in building your teeth, making them stronger and healthier without a cavity and any other teeth problems.

Coral Mint Toothpaste has its benefits and has its problematic ingredients. If we put everything down on the paper, we need to agree that it is an average toothpaste that is a hundred times better than any conventional toothpaste. It uses many beneficial ingredients that will provide excellent mouth health care. But it also applies bleach (hydrogen peroxide), and because of that, I need to give a little bit lower rating. If Coral LLC decides to remove bleach from their formula and instead add baking soda, please let me know, and I will update this article and give a much better rating.
