Global Mountain Beauty Activated Charcoal Toothpaste
Years ago we had a hype with toothpaste that used coconut oil as the main ingredient, and now we have activated charcoal as the main ingredient. Every other toothpaste that is natural and is helping with whitening teeth is containing activated charcoal. In the sea of activated charcoal toothpaste, I managed to miss this one. But thanks to Olga who messaged me about this product I will write an honest review. As usual, I have check all the ingredients and will write about them below.
Gold Mountain Beauty Has a Nice Toothpaste Formula
This primary toothpaste focus is on being gentle to your teeth. Because of that, your teeth will not get white over the night. You will need to use Activated Charcoal Toothpaste longer to see the results. But with time your teeth will get whiter and whiter. You can use it every day without being concern about your enamel or gums. Toothpaste is gentle and will not hurt enamel or your gums.
Most important fact about Activated Charcoal Toothpaste is the fact that is free from dangerous ingredients, chemicals, and other substances that many regular kinds of toothpaste contain. It is free from fluoride, sodium lauryl sulfate and other synthetic preservatives and aromas.
Activated Charcoal Toothpaste Ingredients Review
That’s actually distilled water or deionized water. Meaning that all minerals are removed. This is good because some minerals may react with other ingredients in the toothpaste.
Without this element, toothpaste can hardly be healthy. Coconut oil is essential in every natural toothpaste brand.
Xylitol is becoming an important factor in natural toothpaste brands because recent researches show that is a healthy ingredient that promotes teeth health by fighting bacterias in our mouth. Just make sure your dog doesn’t get a taste of the xylitol or else you may have to visit dog veterinarian.
Bentonite, Diatomaceous Earth, and Baking Soda
Three ingredients that help with whitening your teeth by removing stains. Some stains are hard to remove. Coffee stains and cigarette stains are one of them. Baking soda will also make sure your pH levels are not too acid in your mouth. Too much acid in the mouth may cause tooth decay.
It is derived from a natural process in food grade factory. It uses coconut shells as charcoal. This is the main ingredient that helps with whitening your teeth. Many dentists still didn’t approve this type of teeth whitening because there are still no researches about this kind of products. But we can understand them. Because then they will lose some patients and if there are no scientific proves some of the dentists will be on a skeptic side. But some of them will try the product and lean on the positive side if toothpaste shows to be working.
Lots of Oils
Oils are expensive and maybe because of the oils this toothpaste cost a little bit more than regular toothpaste. But this essential oils will make your teeth healthy. Oils fight bacterias, make your teeth clean and make your breath fresh. Activated Charcoal Toothpaste contains Spearmint, Peppermint, Wintergreen, and Tea Tree oils.
I don’t like xanthan gum. Many toothpaste brands can make toothpaste without it, and I give credit to them. But I also need to discredit the toothpaste that contains xanthan gum. The problem is that this additive is widely used in the food industry, so it is actually not an issue in toothpaste. But the purpose of the xanthan gum in the toothpaste has nothing to do with teeth health. It will also not make your teeth white or help in any other way with the teeth. It will not do harm either. The ingredient is put to make the whole formula stable. It is a cheap way of making formula stable. I will keep giving an advantage to the toothpaste without xanthan gum and maybe then those companies that use premium ingredients like oils, activated coconut charcoal and other premium stuff will consider twice if they add cheap lab made ingredient for stabilization.
Activated Charcoal Toothpaste is a great product; it will for sure make your teeth white in a gentle way without harming your enamel. But you need to be careful because your enamel may already be damaged and if you feel any sensitivity on your teeth while using the product you should contact the manufacturer. My only concern in toothpaste is xanthan gum; it is an ingredient that does not help nor does it harm, in other words, it is not needed.
